ABBOT MONROE :: JARED BARBOZA, DIRECTOR
 
Jared Barboza is a specialist in artist development and music marketing strategy whose career in music has evolved along with the changing industry.

First working in the Business Affairs department at Virgin Records, over the past twelve years since, he has developed a broad marketing and management background that includes retail, new media, strategic marketing, and label management.

Jared believes that artists should develop a multi-channel revenue model that will not only provide a sustainable career but will ultimately give the artist control of his/her destiny. He shaped Abbot Monroe as a company that can meet the challenges of developing that model.

As a burgeoning DJ and Promoter in college, the path for Jason Barrios was clearly leading to a career in the music industry.

After graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Marketing degree in 2006, Jason began his career at Warner Brothers Records; A&Ring remix packages, promoting tracks to Dance-format radio, and providing the street-level insight needed by an industry behemoth like Warners to stay on the cutting edge.

After serving as label manager for the digital labels InStereo Recordings (DJ Dan) and Audacious Records (Dave Audé), Jason now leads marketing and promotions for the Abbot Monroe roster; over-seeing tour marketing and new release promotions.
